About this Painting: “Falling Back” was the first painting to be completed in the collection. The title makes reference to a kind of haze that seems to be falling from within the painting. The imagery, although abstract, is suggestive of a repetitive cycle of climbing and falling, or ebbing and flowing.
About the Fall Collection: This series of paintings is all about bright jewel tones and soft, hazy textures. They share a similar color palette with pops of alizarin, Indian yellow, magenta, phthalo blue, and viridian. Cloud elements are featured heavily, often in high contrast to a darker ground. These petite works would be perfect for a cozy space. Black floater frames are recommended to accentuate the paintings.
