About this Painting: “Cutting Through the Darkness” features two piercing cloud forms that seem to be opening up an otherwise dark sky to a golden light. This painting is textured and includes lots of different painting techniques -- combining brush and palette-knife work, bold details and blended shapes.
About the Fall Collection: This series of paintings is all about bright jewel tones and soft, hazy textures. They share a similar color palette with pops of alizarin, Indian yellow, magenta, phthalo blue, and viridian. Cloud elements are featured heavily, often in high contrast to a darker ground. These petite works would be perfect for a cozy space. Black floater frames are recommended to accentuate the paintings.
